The Chrysler Peapod NEV was on the Today Show this morning. It will be available in October 2009 for a $12,500 which is considerably less than a comparable GEM car or Zenn.

My friend Tom in Moline recently got a Zenn NEV car which he let me test drive on my last visit. The two seater had nice accelleration from a stop and a good amount of cargo space.
